TR CU 004/2011 On safety of low-voltage equipment
Scope of application
Low-voltage equipment, which is subject to this technical regulation of the Customs Union, includes electrical equipment intended for use at a rated voltage of 50 to 1000 V (inclusive) alternating current and from 75 to 1500 V (inclusive) direct current.
This technical regulation of the Customs Union establishes requirements for low-voltage equipment in order to protect human life and health, property, as well as to prevent actions that mislead consumers (users) regarding its purpose and safety.
TR CU 004 is not applicable for:

Electrical equipment designed to operate in an explosive atmosphere

Medical products
-
Electrical equipment for elevators and freight hoists

Defense electrical equipment

Pasture hedge controls
-
Electrical equipment intended for use in air, water, land and underground transport

Electrical equipment designed for safety systems of nuclear power plant reactors.
