TR CU 020/2011 On electromagnetic compatibility of devices
Scope of application
This technical regulation of the Customs Union applies to technical means that can create electromagnetic interference and the quality of operation of which depends on the influence of external electromagnetic interference.
The technical regulation establishes requirements for electromagnetic compatibility of technical equipment in order to ensure the protection of human life and health, property, as well as to prevent actions that mislead consumers of technical equipment.
The device must be designed and manufactured in such a way that, when used for its intended purpose:
- electromagnetic interference created by the device does not exceed the level that ensures the functioning of communications and other technical devices in accordance with their purpose;
- the device has a level of resistance to electromagnetic interference (noise immunity) that ensures its operation in the electromagnetic environment for which it is intended.
